Xtreme Challenge!

Xtreme Challenge was always one of the biggest events that caught my attention when I was a high school student. At Elkhart High School, we were always getting prepared for it, and almost every student joined in. It is a chance to compete with other schools in areas that every student can be successful in. Challenges exist in every area that you could think of: math, English, music, PE, art, mechanics, business, accounting, science, drama, cosmetology, agriculture, and so many others! You can find out what you are good at, and use it to your advantage. Xtreme Challenge also gives high school students a chance to explore the college, meet new people, and get out of their comfort zones. Many activities require critical thinking and other important skills that will be helpful in your future. Not only is this a competition among schools, but it could also be a great way to learn new things from other students that you may not have already known. Students in similar competitions are able to meet each other and interact in the area that they are competing in. Xtreme Challenge is one of the biggest events here at SCCC/ATS that high school students look forward to. It is a great opportunity to learn new things, meet new people, and explore the campus to see if this is the right school for you. Don’t miss your chance next year to have a day of fun, learning, and exploring here at Seward County Community College!! --Kristina Simpson :)
